X800

I got my X800 yesterday. I haven't had much of a chance to use it yet. An interesting issue that seems to affect these cards is that the heatsink doesn't always seem to be correctly screwed on.

This is what I did to fix it.

I'll play around with it more tonight. :)

Cost me about $260.

LostCoast runs in 1280x1024 with full everything :)

Quake 4 runs well. Fear needs more ram.

Tempting, to say the least. I don't know if its any good tho. I'm an nvidia fan at the moment. I'm drooling over a nice sli-ed 7800gtx setup ;)

There seems to be hundreds of manufacturers of "X800" cards - what brand did you get?
