Pancakes

Pancakes:

2 cups of self raising flour
2 cups of butter milk
1 tablespoon of sugar
2 eggs

Mix together and cook on a hot (buttered) fry pan

Sauce:

Lots of butter
Little bit of brown sugar
Maple syrup

Heat in saucepan and pour over pancakes

Best pancakes ever :)

Serves 4.

That's exactly how I do it. Only with plain flour and without butter milk because we don't have any at home. I also add a tiny bit of salt.

One other difference, mine don't turn out to be like leather ;)

Yes it sort of does, doesnt it. I think stuart may be stretching the limits of the word 'exactly' :)

Possibly. It depends how you view it, and whether or not you're a smartarse. :)

Well stuart, i think its fairly established that i AM a smartarse, and a bit of a bastard, so apologies there ;)

But as to 'how you view it', im not sure how else to see it. Its like saying "Yes i make coffee just like that too, except i use tea" :)
